Streams¶
A stream is a list of events like created packets or readings for a selected device, folder or folder-tree.
Each stream needs a name, which will be displayed when selecting the stream elsewhere.
A stream does not limit what type of events flow through it. It's only selecting the source where the events come from.
Filtering which events will be handled how is part of a rule.
A stream can only be removed when there are no rules using it.
Sources¶
A stream must have one or more sources.
There are multiple types of sources:
- Device: Events for a single selected devices.
- Devices in folder: Events for all devices that are directly in selected folder.
- Devices in folder and children: Events for all devices that are in a selected folder or in a children of that folder.
- All devices
